Resizing video for social, simply explained
The tool re-encodes your video once per size you pick, one after another, each saved as MP4 (H.264 video with AAC audio) at that size: pick several sizes in one run and download each version separately. If one size fails, the rest still run. How the frame fits is your choice: blurred padding shows the whole picture over a blurred copy of itself, solid padding over black bars, and cropping fills the frame and cuts the overflow — drag the preview or use the position sliders to choose what stays in frame. The face suggestion is only a starting point: when your browser can detect a single face in the frame, it centres the crop there for you to confirm or adjust, and it never sends anything anywhere — if it finds no face, or more than one, your framing stays exactly as it was. Only the first audio track is kept, subtitles are not carried over, and HDR videos are converted to standard colour. Everything runs on your device, which keeps your video private but means speed depends on your device.

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and performance; it does not receive PDF contents or filenames.
