Crop videos online
Crop a video to the exact area you need, right in your browser, without uploading anything. Drag the crop frame over a preview frame, pick an aspect ratio, or enter the exact pixels — then save as MP4 or WebM. The tool is built for short clips: cropping re-encodes the picture on your device, so long videos will take a long time.

Cropping videos, simply explained
Cropping keeps only the part of the picture inside the frame and removes the rest. Drag the frame to move it, drag a corner to resize it, or enter the exact position and size in pixels. Aspect presets keep the frame in proportion — handy for profile pictures and thumbnails. The picture is re-encoded at the same quality as a conversion, and odd sizes are rounded down to even numbers, so the cropped clip plays everywhere; on an odd frame, an odd starting position is likewise rounded down to an even number, a 1 px inward shift at the frame's edge. The sound is kept untouched whenever the output format accepts it, and re-encoded otherwise (WebM runs whose sound would need a stereo re-encode are refused instead, since that re-encode crashes the browser — save those as MP4); only the first audio track is kept, and subtitles are not carried over. The clip's general file information — such as a title or location, where the file has any — is kept in the cropped clip. The result is named after the original clip, with -cropped added. If your browser cannot show a preview frame for a clip, the frame still works: set the area with the numbers below. Everything runs on your device, which keeps your videos private but means speed depends on your device — short clips crop quickly, while long videos can take a very long time, so this tool is best for short clips.
Private by design.
