Cropping images, simply explained
Cropping keeps only the part of the image inside the frame and removes everything outside it. Drag the frame to move it, drag a corner to change its size, or type the exact position and size in pixels. Aspect ratio presets keep the frame in proportion — handy for profile pictures and thumbnails. HEIC photos are saved as JPG, because HEIC cannot be written here. Saving as JPG flattens transparency onto white. Every result shows its before-and-after dimensions and file sizes. Every result is re-saved at the quality you set, so saving as JPG or WebP loses a little quality; PNG is saved without losing quality.
